No advertising, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links, no paid directory listings. No firm has paid, or can pay, to be added to a ranking, to move up one, or to be removed from one. Outbound links to assessed firms are marked nofollow so that a listing confers no search ranking benefit. Running costs are met by the publisher.

## Editorial standards

Assessments are made by experienced Victorian legal practitioners from publicly available material. Every firm is rated against the same criterion definitions, and a rating is only recorded where there is material to support it. Rankings are general information about firms, not legal advice about a claim, and are not a recommendation to retain any particular firm.
